The Next Grind is a coffee shop located near the Gilgandra Visitors Centre on the Newell Highway, which is the main inland highway linking Victoria to Queensland. It was opened in 2005 on the same premises as the local nursery.

The coffee shop promotes an image of quality and includes a photography and giftware gallery selling local products and using local services. Focusing on the wandered tourism market of retirees pottering and traveling outside school holidays, the coffee shop offers home baked meals as well as real coffee.
